Appreciation is one of the highest frequencies available to attract your desired life. When you are in an appreciative state, you are full of gratitude for what you already have in your life, and you open yourself up to receive. Appreciation is in the same vibrational family as love, bliss, empowerment, and joy. The word appreciate means to “recognize the full worth of and be grateful for.” You are not emanating lack with appreciation, but rather broadcasting wholeness, and fullness.
Magnetizing your dreams from a high vibrational state of appreciation is a fantastic tool for being in resonance with what you desire. Appreciation is a feeling state that assists you with being grateful now, and raises your vibration in the present moment. When setting intentions in this appreciative state, it provides an energetic launchpad to your dreams already in motion.
Abraham-Hicks from their Ask and It’s Given book, on page 114, includes a list of “The Emotional Guidance Scale” to help clarify, and define where you may range with your emotions with respect to alignment, and how those emotions on the scale show up vibrationally in the non-physical realm.
Where we are asking from in terms of our emotional state influences our point of attraction, whether we are in a state of appreciation, bliss, joy, love, and empowerment, or if we are feeling despair, depressed, or anger. Your emotional state is another area to be conscious of when declaring your intentions whether verbally or in thought. Staying in a positive upward stream offers momentum for what we desire, create, and attract in our lives. Using this Emotional Guidance Scale, one approach is to choose the next best emotional state you can from where you are currently at.
Recognizing where you are at, feeling that state, moving through it in your own time, getting help from others, and professionals as needed, and having awareness of how you are experiencing the varied emotions within the scale can be helpful in shifting out of feeling stuck, paralyzed, or where you may feel resistance. You have your preferred emotional states, and interpretations for what each emotional state means for you. The goal is to raise your vibration by feeling good to become a more resonant match to what you desire.
Here is a simple exercise to help create the vibe of appreciation. On one side of a sheet of paper, begin with, “I am appreciating” or “I appreciate” — for what you are appreciating in your life generally, and with textured, multi-sensory details. For the other side of your paper, list what you appreciate about yourself. Appreciating yourself is another version of self-love. Appreciate yourself for not just for who you are, and what you do, but for also what you have overcome, faced, survived, lived through, and experienced. For your progress, improvements, and development on all those levels you consciously give attention to. Also acknowledge who you are on a broader lever, your unique essence, and appreciate the infinite beauty in that. What does truly appreciating yourself look like? In what ways do you appreciate yourself? How can you express that to your self in a way that is authentic for you? What does it feel like? Bring in all your senses and tap into that appreciative state.

Throughout the month, give mindful focus to what you are already appreciative of, and to your answers to the questions above. Consider viewing appreciation as a tool for you to come from an abundant “whole” and pure place, and not from lack with your intentions. It’s helpful, and effective when asking for what you want, to ask from this energetic place of appreciation where you are in alignment with all that is possible, and available to you from the universal palate of possibilities.
